My husband and I just found out we're having a little boy June 21st! We're so excited but there's one problem he wants the baby to have his first name but a different middle name. I don't want that I think that our son should have his own name but with my husbands name as a middle name. So far my husband doesnt like any names I've come up with... any suggestions for a unique first name to go with Michael Smith???

My oldest son is named after my husband. I was hesitant on naming him the third because I wanted him to be his own person and have his own name. What we decided to do was to call him by his middle name he knows his first name and he's very proud of his name because it is after his father and grandfather but he knows Micheal will always be his name even though his full name is Robert Micheal. You could always name him after your husband and call him by his middle name because he will cherish that name forever. Good luck :)

I named my son after his father BT I switch the first name 2 his middle n the middle name 2 his first name

My son will have his dad's first name and a different middle name. I like it that way. But my hubby is also a 3rd so I prefer that rather than a 4th.

I have two girls and haven't found out what I am having yet, but all of our kids names have had something from the family on both sides. We picked Theodore Joseph for a boy. Theo for short. And Averie Belle for a girl.

Throw caution to the wind and pick some crazy names. Show him how "bad" it could be lol or you might even find something you really like!
I'm having my son on the 26th of this month and my husband and myself randomly thought of Maddox Gregory. Completely opposite of what we were thinking about.

Couldn't be happier with a final decision though lol

Thank you!! He's a tough one I'll throw some of these out there I don't know if he's just going to say he doesn't like any because he wants Michael or if he's just that picky... I've gone on all different websites havent tried an app yet though!
