next ultrasound?

Im 8 weeks and 3days. I was just wondering when is the next time you get an ultrasound done? I have ab apt with my obgyn but its not for an ultrasound i will as him. But was just curious i wanna see my baby!!

Yes i saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks!! And im thinking about doing the testing as well they said between 10-14 weeks i just really wanna see an ultrasound lol can i request one just because. I really want a photo!

I had my first at 6weeks+5 because abnormal periods. I got second at 9weeks 3days. Due for another on the 18th. Everyone's different/ every doctors office works different aswell

Yes around 12 weeks u will get to see ur baby again!! Congrats to all the mommy's! I am currently 23.3 weeks along myself with a little girl! So excited to meet her as this is my first after repeated losses.. I get my next u/s next week! Looking forward to it for sure

If there any any complications such as bleeding or pain you will get an emergency scan early. I had my first @ 7 weeks and thankfully the baby was fine :)
Normally your first scan will be @ 12 weeks then again around 18-20 weeks (this is called an anomaly scan as they can properly check any abnormalities, and it is also the one where they will most probably be able to tell you your baby's gender) Make sure you ask for the scan photo as they do not always give it to you if you don't remind them. It's a great thibg to hold onto as a memoir. Some hospitals charge around £3 per picture but so far I've been getting away with the charge. The doctor was really nice ;)

I'll be 8 weeks Saturday. I see dr tomorrow for the first heartbeat. I'm so excited. Have you heard the heartbeat already ??

It should be at around 12 weeks

I did genetic screening at 12 weeks and got an ultrasound for the NT part to check for down syndrome risk
