out of shape after birth

Delivered 2 weeks ago and feel out of shape. Walking around Babys R Us kicked my butt! Since I'm on maternity leave I just sit around the house. At least when I was working I walked to and from parking lot and around office building. Now I feel blah. Anyone else feeling same way? should I start walking down my block just to get some exercise? Or wait the 6 weeks till I completely heal?

My mom never waited 6 weeks to do things. The day she had me she went home and cleaned the house and ran around doing stuff right after all 3 of her pregnancies. So if you want to go walk or clean or anything go for it!(:

Wait until your 6 weeks is up. Two weeks post-partum, you should at I'll feel like poo and out if shape, especially if you haven't been taking it easy.

Yes.  Put that baby in a stroller and walk around the block if it's not too cold where you live.

It sounds like even when you were working your movement was kind of minimal.

You'll get back in shape much faster if you lace up those tennies and walk.

I think you'll be fine if you go for a walk around the block before your check up.

My baby was born on nov 7. I am already tired of being home doing nothing. And i can not get a really rest because i am taking care of the baby. I feel blue sometimes it is a really big change to have a baby at home.
