Maybe there was too much iron in your blood so they are trying to keep it at a normal range? A lot of prenatals don't have much iron
I said low iron! Lol why LOW iron and not a normal dosage of iron? I'm so confused. Thanks for answering. May be I should rephrase my question.
It's definitely a good thing that he's put you on them early. My iron levels got extremely low midway through my pregnancy, they went from 98 to 8 in a matter of a couple months so my doc put me on iron tablets also. The sooner the better that way your levels won't drop alot
Some women have low iron some don't, I had it bad with my first child im currently pregnant with my second and im 31 weeks they just now put me on it, you probably aren't taking in enough iron so this way you and your baby are getting the stuff you need! Its fine no need to worry as long as you take the pills like your doctor says,I stopped taking mine and they said if I didn't take them that I would end up have a blood transfusion.
