please help!

So as some of you know I had food poisoning abt a month ago and ever since then I have had diarrhea just abt everyday. The past 2 days I finally had a regular bm (im sorry for the tmi) but then tonight I have had diarrhea again. Im really worried that I got a bacteria from the food poisoning because this happens so random I can't even pin point a certain food. Has anyone heard of this? Will it effect my baby? Im starting to get very concerned. :(

Thank you rayla_channel! And yes honkaaa, I use to freak out and now its like expected lol. My mom told me if it's just once a day or once every other day I shouldn't worry..im almost 18 weeks and with my last pregnancy I got diarrhea in the last stages! But one of the nurses told me it could just be hard on my body because I just had my baby last March and then I got pregnant again when he was 8 months! So she told me its just been hard on my body which makes a lot of sense too. Lol

I'm the same way! It happens randomly, I've noticed oranges are not sitting well with me during this pregnancy and I've never had a problem with oranges before. At first i would always freak out, but now I'm used to it, that it just happens randomly. I can't pin point any other food that makes my body react like that so i just go with a flow.... I'm 34 weeks btw

I hope everything is ok, as I am sure it will be. But I've been reading about how diarrhoea is common in the late stages of pregnancy, so u are probably fine :)

Thank you I did let my doctor know and he first told me to keep hydrated then go on the BRAT diet and then when it persisted to once every now and then he suggested we cld try antibiotics but I told him it was going away so he said that was okay. Now it only happens randomly and im thinking im extra sensitive to something. But I have an appointment next week to talk about it.

First off, if u think u had food poisoning, u need to let your doctor know ASAP!! It can be extremely harmful to the baby because their immune system isn't fully developed, especially this early on. If u have something like salmonella, it could be passed to the baby and they could be carriers of the virus for years. I saw it on the Doctors show. This woman's baby was 9 days old and got salmonella frm their dog food, and even with regular antibiotic treatment, they said the child would carry the bacteria in her system til shes about 5 or 6 yrs old. While diarrhoea is common in the late stages od pregnancy, if u think u had food poisoning,  u need to let ur doc know right away!

Thank you guys. And I know its not like I wld have it all day it wld be once a day or maybe every other day and so I was thinking maybe its the pregnancy and certain foods dont agree. I had been chalking it up to sugar. I feel like too much sugar just hurts and its not even a lot of sugar I think im just extra sensitive to it :/ its just annoying:(

That doesn't sound to fun. Usually food poisoning doesn't last a month talk to ur doctor maybe they can test ur poo and see what bacteria or maybe; but dont think worms, I know it sounds gross sorry! Try to get treated with ur doctor.

Your intestines might just be sensitive. It's a miracle when I have a normal BM. I've had constipation since my son was born 6 years ago and I never had it before I became pregnant with him. I'm 21 weeks with #3.
