If you are driving and you turn into the trunk lane for a left turn and a car speeds by you almost hitting you both stop at the red light the turn onto a highway come up to a red light that person goes to run the light you begin to stop that person comes to a screeching stop backs up almost hit your car the light turns green she gets out of her car walks over to mine like she's going to do something bad or hurt me do I have the right to protect myself and my unborn child? If I had a knife there do I have that right until it's safe to go around her in my car to get away from them to could i potentially use the knife  if I had to to keep myself safe?

Yes me too but still it was still my fault some how because I had a knife on my center console like it always is I get so tired of crazy people we will all have to answer to God for our mistakes I know I can stand the person I see in the mirror I wonder if that lady can and that cop can...

We were on the highway if I ran the red light and or hit them with my car I would have been at fault.... so I waited until it was safe so I did not hurt anyone else who was around me

It sounds like you're in Great Britain.  I'm not familiar with what a "trunk lane" is or the particulars of what exactly happened,  traffic-wise,  but it's never a good idea to get out of a car and confront someone with a knife.

And it's certainly not a good idea,  Farah,  to run over someone you suspect might want to confront you.  That's homicide.  You can't kill someone because they are scowling and behaving oddly.

In the future,  if this happens,  keep your windows rolled up,  your doors locked,  and drive around them when you can safely do it.

If someone came out of there car to do something to me in a threatening way then i believe its right to protect yourself. Never been in that situation and i dont know how the law in your state works. I would seriously run over someonr with my car if they did that. You have no clue if they have a weapon with them

Depends on your States laws as far as protection but going around her should be just fine.  Or you could always call the cops.
