monitor testing help!
I'm 4 days late from due date Dr wants to do this monitor testing on baby. Has anyone ever had this done ??? How is it?? Is it possible they can send me to the hospital the get induced ? Help!!
Yeah its a non stress test. You just lay down and they strap two moniters on your belly and you just chill out for 20 minutes or so while the machine measures if you are having contractions and you and baby's heartbeat. I was almost falling asleep toward the end I was concentrating so much on staying relaxed haha
They just hook you up to the monitors(wrap around your belly) and listen to babies heartbeat for a period of time, its nothing scary
