Does anyone have a child with special needs? Hope did you find out? Can you share your story? I'm freaked BC I watched video and read some posts so I would like to learn more and be prepared if it happens.

My 2 year old son was born with cleft lip and palette.  Found out through ultra sound.  He has had 3 major surgeries,  with lots more (until he is 18).  He has a great team of specialists that work with.  It really is amazing all the things that doctors can do now days.

Im preg w my first child. But I do have a 6 yr old brother with downs  my mom didnt know when she was pregnant w him and found out at birth, he doesnt have any heart problems like many kids with down syndrome do. But he was in the nicu for a month for breathing problems and after that he was home and we didnt really have any medical complications with him thank god, all I could say is children with special needs is a true blessing! Good luck.
