So Im 100% hydrated but it's so cold outside it makes my lips dry n crack I think I'm getting a cold sore. Someone told me it's bad to get a cold sore while pregnant is that True?

Ladies there is nothing wrong with getting a cold sore while pregnant.  Just take care of yourself.

And I heard a cold sore on the lip is considered herpes on the lip. Not genital herpes.

You are getting a sore but not a cold sore. A COLD SORE is caused by the herpes virus. That is why it is considered so bad.

I've never, ever heard of anything bad happening because you have a cold sore while pregnant lol. You should be fine.

My mom told me. Her friends daughter died because she was pregnant and had a cold sore. I don't really believe it I think she said it to just scare me

Its also cold where I live and my lips are always dry and cracking and burning when it's cold. I always use chapstick but I lost mine and recently found it. I just recently got a cold sore this morning. I felt it coming on about 2 days ago, started showing yestrdy and this morning it starting showing even more. I hate it! I've never heard of a cold sore being bad during pregnancy though??
