talking to your baby

How many of you actually talk to your baby out loud ? I used to but felt kinda weird. I tried reading but it only happened once. I want to have a really nice bond with my baby. I know she already knows how much I love her but I want to make it even bigger. Just wondering how many of you talk to your baby, read books, and listen to music

I just want to be a good mom. I get so scared and nervous sometimes. I see other moms talk to their little ones a lot and do all kinds of things with them and I'm just like oh yup here's a baby and what do I do now lol I just feel awkward sometimes.

I dont. I love her a lot but I dont really have a lot to say to her yet. Im reading Tropic of Cancer right now and its not really appropriate;)
I sing and laugh a lot so I get that she hears be but I know we'll have a lot of time to chat later. I haven't felt very pregnant during my pregnancy so that may be part of it? When I told my Dr she just laughed and said, "she'll know you."
My gay guy friends talk to her all the time tho;) my husband doesn't.

I sing for the baby. Sing in the car, sing in the shower, sing when I'm doing laundry (as long as my bf isn't around, I'm not the best singer lol but I just like music I can sing to). I did the same with my second, shes 2 now and loves music, loves to sing along to songs on the radio in the car, sings while she plays with her toys and will just sing church songs to herself at random times lol. Tonight at dinner she was singing "Ave Maria" :) it's so cute

I honestly hardly ever talk to my baby boy unless he's hurting me lol Hubby talks to him alot and sings. I've also only read to him once. I want to talk to him more but it feels so awkward whether I'm completely alone or afraid that someone in the other room might overhear. I figure he hears me every time I talk to someone and sing in the bath so its not a big deal. I know I'll spend plenty of time talking to him once I pop him out lol

I just feel a little weird sometimes lol but when she's hurting me kicking my ribs I tell her to move but she fights back. I've noticed she's more active when daddy's around. My dad always talks to her. I'm going to start talking to her more and reading I really want a closer bond :) <3

I talk to my baby all the time and I read a story every night. I love it because I can feel the baby moving around while I'm reading the story.

I feel weird talking to my little hamster at this point in time but I have been reading it a book out loud. It seems to move that most when it hears my husband's voice.
