I was 19 just about to be 20 when i found out. I too was already moved out living with my bf of 4 years. I was nervous to tell my family. I told my mom 2 days after i found out because i didnt know how far along i was and wanted her support at the doctors. She was super shocked and i saw a little dissapointment in her face...but now she is so excited. She even said shes gunna cry when my little girl is born lol and posts pictures of me on her facebook lol. She told my dad because i was scared to and he wasnt mad at all. My parents are older (51) so they were kinda ready for grandkids but i am not really stable in my life. I work as a server, live in a townhouse, have kind of flunked college(just being honest). So they were a little worried. But my boyfriend is really stepping up and taking care of me so it puts them at ease. It is scary and a little heart breaking at first because they arent jumping for joy but it doesnt take long for families to become excited over a baby! I have a lot of advice on how to save money on baby so email me if you would like to or if you ever just want to talk. Same for anyone else. ***@****

As far as your mom goes, i totally understand. I was 20 and unmarried, engaged but unmarried when i got pregnant as well. My parents are pretty religious and i felt like a huge let down (still do sometimes). Fact is, my family was passed for the longest time, but 9 months is a while to get over something, not to mention, the first time your mom holds your little baby all will feel right again. My mom told me the minute she saw my little boy and held him she was thrilled. As far as your cousins go, and i don't mean this to sound bad, but if they're ok with letting someone under age drink with them, i don't see where it would be much different to find out you're pregnant. You never know, everyone may be really supportive. Best to get it put in the open sooner than later so you'll know who's going to be supportive and who's not.

I'm 19 and 10 weeks. When I told my mom I thought she would be mad, but she wasn't she had alot of other emotions but a few days after she was excited for me. It wasn't as hard to tell her as I thought it would be! Good luck!

I was 18 when I had my first now 20 and 29 weeks. I was super afraid to tell my mom about my first. She always told me if j ever got pregnant she would make me get an abortion. Obviously i would never let that happen, but that tells you how she felt lol when I told her she was dissapointed of course but it was no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be! After a while she started getting excited:)

they should be fine with it. If they ask why you not drinking tell them you can't cuz you're pregnant. It will shock them but they should be fine with it if you have a good relationship with them. People will try to judge you for anything but you just have to not worry about what others have to say. If they care for you they will love you no matter what

Oh okay...well You're grown! And since you're not living with her its really not too much she can say but maybe say shes upset with you but you have your own place. She may be upset at first and hopefully she won't be that upset or be mad for long. She may be the opposite and not be upset at all...i texted my mom and told her lol
