You should probably find a new doctor!
Just ask the doctor when you are there, most doctors don't say anything or do anything extra when the pregnancy is a healthy one. When there is no concern they just walk in and out of the room. I'm currently 34 weeks and 5 days and when I go to my doctor's visit they just weigh me, do blood pressure, pee in the cup, baby's heart monitor and out the door. They told me last week I was going to go for an ultrasound to estimate the baby's weight and that I was also going to have a find non stress test and then five minutes later the nurse walks back in the room and says to never mind , that the doctor said it wasn't necessary because everything looked fine. If you have any questions just ask that's what the doctor is there for. And if you don't like your doctor, you can always look for another one that tells you more info and makes you feel more at ease and more comfortable. Good luck, God bless!
There is nothing really to worry about i have 3 children im pregnant with my fourth some women really dont show until there third trimester and im like that i dont show till 7 8 months everyone body is different
At 17 weeks your belly should be moving out from behind your pelvic bone so you shouldn't have a baby bump until around 22-26 weeks.
Im 7 months and my tummy is still soft and i didnt start showing a lil till after 20 weeks. Yesterday i got told by two ppl that i didnt look pregnant let alone 7 months. Everyone says take it as a compliment bc it should b easy to go back to my normal weight n size n plus i only have 2 stretch marks. Btw my baby is very healthy and i get checked every week bc im high risk
Symptoms are a good sign! If you have heard the heartbeat I wouldn't worry about it. My md never had us hear it so I bought a doppler online. My md also said 5he baby's hr was 120, the doppler normally is in the 130s and today 150s! I'm getting a new md, but I started a new job so I have to wait for the new insurance to kick in. I'll be 20 weeks on sunday.
