too many vitamins?

Hi ladies, this may sound like a stupid paranoid question, but will having a high intake of vitamins harm my baby? I take a normal prenatal vitamin but all I can stand to eat is fruits and vegetables, especially oranges, and I'm worried I'm over doing it.

I had the same experience with my son. I ate 4-6 oranges and a grapefruit every single day during my first and second trimester. My baby is a healthy 15 month old now. Are you having a boy? Maybe it's got something to do with your cravings...lol

Hi there.  If you are taking a normal dose of prenatal vitamin and then just eating various things like a lot of oranges, you are fine honey.  I had cravings when pregnant for grapefruit. I couldn't get enough and was eating a ton of it.  I mentioned it to my doctor and the doctor said I was craving folate and the grapefruit was helping me get it.  So, as long as you eat a health diet of a variety of things PLUS your oranges you are wanting to chow on, you should be just fine.  :>)  good luck
