I was scared also, my epidural wore off right before I had to push, yes it hurts but honestly it's worth it.

Find some nicer shows! Those cases they show are usually the most dramatic and the craziest births. I'm addicted to the midwives, one born every minute and mums behaving badly lol but searching for home birth or natural birth videos are much more sane.

Lol ya will do it,,, don't worry once you are going through the motions, you gain a sense of determination and the want to get it over with.  Having a birth plan with your dr can help with anxiety b4 labor too

well the baby won't just stay in forever lol...honestly, it hurts a lot (vaginal, no epidural), but as soon as baby is out, it's not too bad. recovery is very uncomfortable and kinda gross with all the bleeding, but it's not painful. sounds cliche, but baby really is worth it and I'm sure you'll do great!
