Has anyone heard or better yet used a hanging bassinet or floating crib?
Haven't heard of either of those. But, instead of a regular bassinet i got a rocking moonlight sleeper. You can put it beside your bed and rock it, it has vibrating thing on it and nature sounds and it puts off a soft light with stars and moons.

Yeah. That's definitely scary!
My mil gave my first baby a hanging bassinetwhen she was born, she had my bil set it up while we were away, i loved it but it fell to the ground when my husband put the hospital bag on it,my bil isnt handy at all, we didnt trust it after that, they are safe if you set them up right , but i couldn't get past the fear
