How long does braxton hicks last. Been having really bad sharp pains in my lower abdominal area for the past hour or so nonstop nd it hurts like I don't know what. I'm only 23 weeks nd 2 days

I was having some round ligament pain around that time. Dr told me to lay on my left side and drink water. It worked after about 45 mins to an hr

Braxton Hicks generally aren't painful and they only last for usually under a minute and aren't a lasting pain that goes on for that long. Sounds like something else is going on to me. If it continues and is truly very painful I'd go get checked out

I'm at work so I'm moving all the time. This pain had been goin on now for the past hour nd a half or so now nd it nonstop

Usually they go away if you move around of drink lots of water that helps mine but if you've have more that four in an hour gl go the hospital could be pre-term  labor
