Who had a water birth ???

So my question is everything you can tell me about a water birth. Especially if that was your first baby. I really want one but there's so much that bothers me like where the he'll do u pee? I pee every 15 minutes sometimes and when I will be in the water it will be even worse! Just would like to hear from someone who already had one please. Thank you.

Thanks. I'm on my phone and cant copy the link tho ;( I'm just thinking it's gonna be a bit embarrassing as if I will get in and move around... The water always gets to my vigina and then if in get up in the gets out so if I will be in the tub they might think I peed or something I will just get embarrassed about it as when I'm like in the bath or pool I always get water in and when I go out it comes out.....

I thinm you are worrying about a very small detail lol. I had a water birth I never had to pee. It was much easier and definitely helped. The only thing I didn't like was all the blood in the water after lol just do your research

I've delivered 4 babies. I've never needed to pee after a certain point in labor.

Thanks. I'm just scared because if I'm in a bath or shower I need pee after like dew minutes so if I would be thesame during labour there's no toilet in the room where they have the tub so I would have to go out and walk to the toilet all wet??? Just wind that strange...

My first was a home water birth. My second was a home birth too. I planned another water birth with that one but I wasn't "feeling" the water during his labor. I needed to walk him out. Every birth is different.  To answer your question, You get out of the tub when you have to pee! I only had to pee once during labor both times. Your body is busy doing other things!
Read "Ina May's Guide to Childbirth." Everything you need to know about natural birth!
My water birth was definitely easier than my "Land" birth. We'll see what this labor is like...Good Luck!

Many hospitals won't do them because of infection risk.  I didn't have one but labored in whirlpool tub at the hospital.  I highly recommend laboring in the tub to help with relaxation and manage pain.  Most water births I've heard of happened at home or at a birthing center.
