Push the fluids & fruits & veggies more than the bran/oatmeals. Sometimes the bran/oatmeal kind of stuff can bind you worse. Also ask OB about max dose stool softener for future. It's too late for that to help this time but you may need to be on the softener everyday going forward until things get better. You could try sitting on heating pad once you feel the urge. Sorry you're going through that. I had a tough time on zofran--I thought it was worse than natural childbirth.
I dont feel uncomfortable yet but I dont want to get there. One day was normal, two was getting weird and now we are coming to the end of day three with nothing.
I agree with the movement comment! I have kept active throughout my pregnancy and haven't had a problem yet. Also, everyone's bowel activity is different. If it's not out of the norm and you don't feel constipation yet I wouldn't be too woried. Anything warm always works for me too. Hot chocolate? Anything with lots of fiber can help your bowels. Maybe find a cereal with a good amount of fiber to start out the day in the future?
Also get moving, exercise
Oatmeal or raisin bran first thing on the morning or add Chia seeds to a smoothie!
Colace is on my safe med list. I had to treasure it in the beginning, because u was on Zofran
