Dont think so because I went to the dentist and the only thing they could do was clean my teeth they would not give me any xray at all because im pregnant so I have to wait till after I have the baby to go back and get xrays
Yes. Not during the first trimester and never if your belly area. We require med clearance from your doctor and we double lead appron you..,I am a dental assistant so i deal with this alot
Its a risks vs benefits thing. I had surgery last week and during the op they had to do an xray of my upper abdominal area and the benefits outweighed the risks.
It's not recommended, but certainly tell the technician that your pregnant before you do it.
