So...  A Ray a Sunshine A Rise A? Regardless of what name a parent considers I always say consider how children might tease them. But if the name really speaks to you... go for it. Talk to the father and family, get some feedback. Might be cute as a child but not so much later in life. I knew a kid name Justin Case. He was teased Endlessly.. even names that simply rhyme or remind children of things will get children teased. Sad but true. I thought about this long and hard, someday my baby could come home in tears because kids were cruel. Shouldn't be the deciding factor, but consider it

My dad wanted me to name my baby that, I think its cute and creative but I already had her name picked out. :-)

That's very cute.  Almost no one will know her middle name,  because we all go by our first and last names,  and I bet fewer than 20 people know what your middle name is,  but in her heart she will know she's named a ray of sunshine.

And when people ask what her middle name is,  they'll smile.
