c section incision

I'm 1 week post partum today and I was wondering when it's ok to wear the band of my pants over my incision. I'm so sick of sweat pants lol

I was wearing jeans 1week after my c section. Since i wore the abdominal binder for four weeks it wasn't uncomfortable for me at all wearing jeans. My binder went a couple inches past my incision and as long as i didn't wear my tight jeans i wasn't uncomfortable. :)

If you're comfortable then its probably fine. I wouldn't wear anything to tight though.

It's not uncomfortable to me to wear it over my incision. I put pants on after my shower in the hospital and the nurse freaked out that I had em over the bandage

I wouldn't recommend it for another couple weeks. Odds are having that pressure right on the incision is going to be uncomfortable. I hate just the band of my underwear pressing on it. That doesn't mean you have to wear sweatpants though just wear jeans with a slightly higher rise.
