New Teenage Mother
I'm 17 and I am 12 weeks along. Before anyone says anything,I know I'm stupid for getting pregnant this young. But I was wondering about when you start to feel the baby move? And if possible to describe, what that feels like? Also,when do you find out the sex of your baby?
Feeling the baby move for the first time is different for everyone.
You Dr will most likely do an ultrasound when you're 20 weeks weeks along. Some Drs do it a little sooner and some a little later.
Make sure to take very good care of yourself during your pregnancy. Eat healthy, get plenty of exercise and stay hydrated.
Stay in school. It's so very important to have an education whether you're pregnant or not.
If you're offered parenting classes, take them. You will learn a lot about how to take care of your baby.

I'm 16 years old and 20 weeks pregnant I forget what people think and I have many support god wouldn't give you anything you can't handle so you can do it...Good luck
Dont be silly ur not stupid at all. I was 17n 9 mnths when I had my first best thing ever makes u realise being a mum to a beautiful baby is so much better than going out and all that
You definitely aren't stupid and anyone who thinks so is ignorant...I am 32 and pregnant with my first and when I found outbid was pregnant I thought there is no way I am ready for this...no mater what age you are having a baby is life changing and no mater what there are obstacles, just because your young doesn't mean you cannot over come them...you will be wonderful as long as you know from now on the baby will ALWAYS come first even over your own happiness, I think that things happen that we can't control or change but it's more how you handle them that really counts!
You are not stupid. You are just kind and loving for letting this human live and see this world. I am 27 and i am 22 weeks. I am in no state to look after the baby so i am putting the baby up for adoption. Call me a coward.but i think thats best for the baby. I could not have abortion. i couldnt let this innocent life pay for my mistake. It was unfair. So u arent stupid for letting a life grow
I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I could feel some vibrations at 16 weeks, but only if I was to lay completely still on my back and really concentrated on it. Then at about 19 weeks it started to feel like I was being stroked with one finger or tickled from the inside and at about about 22 weeks I got light kicks, my partner could feel baby kicking from 25 weeks. We chose not to find out the sex as it's a little extra something to look forward to and makes it even more exciting for everyone else too! Good luck :)
Your not stupid , your blessed . I'm 16 and I'm 35 weeks pregnant . this is my first child , just look at itthis way . God wwouldn't give you something that wasn't meant or something you can't handle. That little bundle of joy in your tummy is YOUR LIFE ! love her | him with all you heart and soul . just PLEASE finish school . my school worked with me , and now I'm graduating next month . keep your head up and stay strong for u and that baby .
You are not stupid, dont even think that! I got pregnant with my daughter when I was 17 also and she was the best thing that ever happened to me! I felt her move for the first time about 17 weeks and found out what she was at 19 weeks :) on the whole being youbg stand point, just remember this... By being a young mom, you get to love your babies longer! :)
Your not stupid. we all make stupid choices. Trust me I have been there. Now I didn't want to have sex till after I graduated because I wanted to wait. But I have made choices in my lift hat I do regret just like we all do. I felt movement at around 24 weeks. It feels like little butterflies. Then as your baby is growing you will see your belly doing waves. Its fun to watch. I found out with my first son that he moved more when I sang. Your by loves to hear you. To get them to move sing to them or read them a book.
dont worry girly you're not stupid! i am 17 and i am 11+2, things just happen for a reason wish you the best on your little blessing and just finish school like i am and everything will be okay! no matter what age you're sometimes it will be difficult for some of us women but we are strong and will get through it. just always think positive and keep your head up for your little blessing
Definitely do not feel stupid!!! Everything happens for a reason...I had my first baby at 15 and trust me it's not easy but you can do it!! My only advice to you is finish school and it doesn't matter how hard it gets finish a career..congrats your strong!!! If you ever need someone to talk to or help just say something and never think your alone or anything..God bless you and no your baby!!☺
Your not stupid, I was pregnant at 15 no judgement here when I found out I was 16 weeks along. Im pregnant with my second child (already 20) and I'm 17 weeks haven't found out the sex yet but very very curious...
Don't think you're stupid...I'm in the same boat...but I'm even younger...some of us are destined to be moms at earlier ages. It happens, no big deal. Back in the old days eleven year olds were popping out kids. It's just that since we've advanced in technology and all that it's been made out to be that it's bad. It's not the end of the world and a lot of people are ignorant on the subject. But we can prove them wrong. We can be good moms, too.

Girl no judgement here! I started to feel my baby move when I was 24 weeks I believe. Sorry I can't remember for sure. But it feels like bubbles at first to me then it starts to feel weird like pokes, then like someone is rubbig your skin but from the inside lol its hard to explain! I found out the sex when I was 20 weeks. It was so exciting!
Your not stupid don't think that
You can feel like flutters around 13 weeks and just feels like little flips but you won't actually feel baby kicks till about 20 weeks and around 17 to 20 weeks when you find out the sex
