Try to be patient with your family as I'm sure they're taking this very personally as well.  You can get through it successfully.  I'm sure it wasn't your "plan" but you can make plans more consciously now for the future.  One of my good friends is 37 now--and a very successful investment banker.  You just need to decide what you'd like to do with your education and career. Her daughter is grown and in college herself.  Map out your short term and long term goals regularly to keep yourself on track. Good luck mama.

Kids in high school are jerks... I'm so glad to be done with that.

I wasn't pregnant in high school but i ended up dropping out in my junior year and getting my GED... Was in college the next year when i was supposed to be a senior. Just saying that these days you don't need a traditional education to get by... Do what you need to do to stay sane and finish high school with your baby. Good luck!

Yes, staying in school and thinking long term even beyond just a high school diploma.  In todays job market, college or trade school are essential so that you can eventually be a financially independent adult.  good luck

I'm 16 and 38 weeks pregnant and I'm still going to highschool. I switched to an alternative highschool because my original highschool was large and the alternative highschool is easier to get ahead on work. No ones really said anything mean to my face I'm also very sensitive and things people say can really get to me. But just surround yourself with loving supportive people and everything will be fine! Congratulations BTW:)
