TTC after implant

I had my implant removed on December 23rd, had my period straight after and all this month I came up not ovulating with clearblue. Just had my period for 3 days... anyone got any suggestions on what to do/expect? I really don't want to waste money on ovulation tests if I'm not going to ovulate for a while... #help

So, I tried to conceive for a long time and that has made me feel like an expert.  LOL  I never tried immediately after the implant. But in reading literature, it's not uncommon to take a while to get a normal pattern to your cycle.  I would not waste your money on ovulation tests. I'd take a couple to three months off from the TTC and see if your cycle normalizes.  If you start menstruating around the same time each cycle, this is a good indication that you are ovulating again.  It takes a while for your hormones to get back to this.  My doctor always stands by the best way to conceive is to count from cycle day 1 which is the first day of your period and begin having sex on day 10 and then every other day after until day 20 unless your cycle is longer than the average and then just continue the every other day for longer.  this is the best way to catch the egg once its there.  I never found ovulation tests to help me much but the method my doctor advocates did the trick.  Remember too that it takes the average couple a year to conceive.  good luck
