So I have a bit of delima, its kinda dumb really, but I thought I would get your guys opinion. As of right now (12w2d) we have told family and close close friends. For those of you who have facebook I was going to post in my status something about being pregnant after my first doctors appointment which is next thursday. I had thought all along I would email all my highshcool girlfreinds and let them know before. out of the 6, 3 were in my wedding party, I say highschool freinds b/c quite honestly we arent really close anymore. You know I see them on weddings and birthday only. I went to a wedding on oct4 with them all and of course didnt drink, (said i was on antibiotics) at the dance everyone was having a great time and dancing up a storm, sober me was sitting at the table with hubby. :) anyways i was going to say something along the lines of sorry i was such a bore at kaylas wedding but I am pregnant! now I am wondering if I should tell them in email or if maybe its ok for them to find out on facebook just like everyone else. For some reason i was thinking oh i should tell them sepertely b/c they are my freinds, but really they arent.....I dont know what to do!! please help

2nd- i have a freind, who is trying to get pregnant and has been since january, her and i had talked alot of it b/c i chart and she was asking some questions, and for a few months was trying myself. She has been off the pill since Jan didnt get a period, so the doc gave her some meds to get one in august and now they think she is not ovulating.I plan on phoning her in the next few days to tell her i am pregnant, she is someone that needs to hear it from me, i just dont really know how to say it, its touchy b./c she has been trying for so long....any thoughts?

jamie, i have 2 boys and they were good as babies, and toddlers and now they are not too bad as school aged (6 and 11) but my daughter was a good  baby, but once she hit 2 it was all down hill.  i dont know if alot had to do with my mum spoiling her (badly) or what, but now as a teenager, well let's say that she gives a whole new meaning to being incoragable(spell wrong) and i am not looking forward to her higher teen years as she is only 14 now.  omg

hkenny, i dont remember any major pain with my first pregnancy at all....nor with my first full term pregnancy.  in fact what i remember (up until this one) except for the missed periods and occassional mood swings, you could hardly tell i was pregnant with any of them.  this one, here i am at almost 9 weeks, and i look 5 months...but that is primarily due to the hernia i think....lol

Yeah no doubt eh? LOL, if I could of ordered I don't think I ever imagine myself ordering two at once, but now that I have them, I woudln't change it for the world. Its so funny I hear people and they say "Oh I couldn't imagine doing twins, double everything, and I can barely handle one, etc" I laugh because to be honest I don't remember them being that bad. I mean yes double some stuff, but you don't have to double everything. Like bouncy seats I had one, and one swing, they took turns in it. I didn't buy two jolly jumpers they just have one, and then a round thing that they sit in and play. Oh and when it comes to toys yes when they get older um somethings you do have to buy double of everything because they learn to fight and want what the other one has, and quite frankly some days I can go bloody well insane with the way these two constantly fight over toys, and then again hey you can have 2 of the same toy and they still manage to fight over it.
How many boys do you have? Boys are I heard harder when they are little, but easier for teenage years then what girls are, I am kinda hoping this girl is nothing like me for teenage years=S

Hkenny- It could be normal I think. I don't really remember what happened in the first trimester for me. But then again your uterus is stretching and since this is your first your body hasn't experienced this before. I know if its your second baby or what not your body is kinda already stretched and knows what it is supposed to be doing, I guess that is another reason they say your second baby just kinds of slides out. You know I am hoping that is the case, because I want a painless birth like I had with my twins=)..... one can hope right.

Well hope everyone is doing well I have a month and 2 weeks left to go, its coming close.

hkenny, yes as much as i want another boy, i have had a feeling it is a girl as well.  i picked up a bebe doppler monitor yesterday, at a consignment shop for like $12.  I wont be able to use it for a while yet, but it is kool that i can use it before too much longer, 12 weeks i think is when you can start getting heartbeat on doppler...???

jamie, yeah i did want twins pretty bad, only because this is dh's first and our last, and i was hoping for one of each....lol....too bad we can't just put in a order before we conceive and get what we want...lol

well today kinda sucked, i had alot of stabbing pain low in my stomach, i was out with a friend who just had a baby and she said she had that alot at this stage so i am not worried, but it has been painful.

i did all the gender predictors as well and they ALL say boy,i thought that it was a boy even before that.

It is normal, yet I find myself more hungry through out all my pregnancies then I ever was thirsty or maybe it is just equal???.. who knows. The other day I was more thirsty then I was hungry. With my twins I had the weirdest craving, when I smelt laundry I would crave ice, it was kinda weird. THen again I read on some sites of women craving bleach, and gasoline???.. that to me sounds funny, and of course don't give in to those cravings haha.

Joyce- I did those gender predictors too!! and they all said I had a 50% chance of having a girl, well that was not helpful because that left me with another 50% of having a boy haha. Mind you the way I am carrying this baby, and everything is like you would carry a boy. So I don't believe in the old wives tales about how you carry, heart rates or anything for boys and girls. I think that is all hog wash, they also say your more sick with girls too!! Well I haven't gotten sick or nauseous with my boys or this one so. LOL and yes unfortunately if the tech says they are 99% sure there is just one, you probaby only got just one in there. Its actually alot easier to tell when your not as far along, then when you are. LOL maybe you just want twins really badly, I don't know. But, I don't think the tech would say they are 99% sure if they weren't.
