TTC...LATE FOR PERIOD; NEG TEST

PLEASE HELP!! My Hubby & i are trying to conceive. I am now 6 days late for my period. (i'm NEVER late!!) Having some cramps & creamy white discharge as well as sore breasts. Seem to be urinating more & bloated/eating a bit more. Still no sign of period.  I've taken several home pregnancy tests but they are all negative. I have Dr appt in 3 days to have some blood work done but am anxious to either start or for the test to be positive! Has this ever happened to anyone else??? How many days after missed period do I have to wait b/f a test will be negative if i am pregnant?? Am i preggo or what??!!!

My husband and I have been TTC for over 4 years....and unfortunately, god has not given us the biggest gift of love....

You and I seem to be going through the same...the only difference is that I've only been one day late thus far. In the last 3 months, I have not been late....I've been taking Metformin since June and many times I missed my dosage, which now I don't know if this affected in any way my menstrual cycle. However, like you, my breast feel sore and tender, I've been feeling nauseated, bloated, and have made frequent trips to the potty without me having to consume so much water....I'm scared of taking a HPT...and getting another BFN...I'm trying to do exactly....what many have said for you to do...and that is to patiently wait and see what happens....or schedule an appointment with the Doc in a near future to get blood work done...whichever I decide to do, I just hope it's proves to be worth it....

I wish you all the best...and keep us all posted!!!!

All the way from NYC...I send you a hug...and lots of baby dust*****!!!!

My husband and I began trying to conceive a year ago and still no luck.  Our second month trying I was in your same situation, waiting to go get blood testing at my doctor.  I was actually a month late, but had about 8 negative home pregnancy tests.  The doctor told me that many women do not show on a home pregnancy test even after being a month or so late.  Sadly, in my situation, I got my period only hours after the doctors performed the blood test.  They said skipping my period was a result of stress. While my husband and I pray everyday to conceive, it is very hard to be patient.  I really hope God blesses you with the baby you are hoping for.  God bless and good luck.

I have heard of people being two weeks late before a positive would show. I was also almost a week late for the first time ever last cycle until the witch showed up. Try to relax and wait a couple days and test again or just wait until your Drs appt. and have them do a blood test. I know its so hard to wait when your dying to know but hang in there.
