Hi everyone. I have a question if anyone can help me. Last night my friend old me about a procedure she had done called a DNC and I told her my situation and she said I shuld look into it. Im going to because I think this is why I haven't gotten pregnant after TTC for the past 5 years. I had an abortion when I was 19 so I was told I prob have scar tissue and that is why the sperm cannot reach my egg. Also, my periods are very irregular. Please, if anyone has any information on this it would be very helpful.
I am very sorry to say that sometimes having an abortion can lead to infertility because of to much scar tissue. I have a friend that is now infertal because of the hormonal trauma to her body when she had an abortion. I am sorry for your struggle and I am praying for you.
When you go to the specialist make sure you tell them everything....from pain to complecations to what happen when you were 19...its very important to tell them everything!. Goodluck!
I would definitely go to a fertility specialist and let them decide what to do. We cannot diagnose ourselves!
