Is it safe to try for a baby again straight after a miscarriage

I have had a miscarriage about a week go. And was wondering when will it be best for me to try again for a baby. As I have heard that if you fall pregnant straight after a miscarriage it can increase the risk of you having another miscarriage. If anyone has any advise or actually been through this themselves please could you comment.

I've had two miscarriages, first two years ago, the second was June 2014. I didn't get my period until September then found out I was pregnant in October. I'm 13 weeks right now and my obgyn said everything looks great and baby is healthy. Hang in there.

I found out I had a missed misscarrage at my 12 week appt and had to go to have a D &CC. The Dr told me that they used to recommend 3 cycles but since studies have found your no more likely to misscarrage if you don't wait than you would be if you did. She told me we should probably wait 1 cycle to help determine how far along I would be but otherwise could try again whenever we wanted with no risks.

I would wait so that ur body can get back to its normal self. I had miscarriage 3 1/2 yes ago and it took me 8 months to get a normal period. I had a DnC and it was the worst pain ever. I wanted to deal with the pains and stress of losing my child before I had another. Here I am 36 weeks pregnant. I don't u should wait as long as I did but at least allow ur body to get a normal cycle again. I'm so sorry for ur lost and u will get that beautiful child u want.

I would talk to your OB. Depends how far along you were and if there was a known cause for Mc and if you passed it natural or with medical intervention.
