6 days late, negative HPT

Looking to see if anyone else has had this happen or in the same boat? I stopped taking the pill in January. February AF was irregular and only lasted 2 days, but March AF was pretty normal. I started tracking my BBT everyday in March. Now AF is 6 days late, my BBT was 98.2 this morning (highest it's ever been), I have a lot of the symptoms: sore breasts, nauseous, constipation, but I took 4 HPT this past week and all came back negative, most recently Thursday when I was 4 days late. I scheduled a blood test for next Thursday but I'm not sure how I'm going to keep sane until then. Help!!!

My periods have been completely irregular since coming off the pill in June 2015 (over 10 months ago) as i was on it for over 12 years. My doctor advised that this is completely normal and it can take time for your periods to become regular again (and some never do!). It is still possible to get pregnant if you're ovulating despite the irregular periods. So it could be the same for you (I.e. Just part of the aftermath of the pill), or that your HCG hormone levels are not high enough yet to detect any pregnancy. Or it could be stress holding things up for you. I'd test again or have a blood test done as you suggest in a few more days. Good luck!

Thanks! I was thinking stress could be part of it. Will have to wait and see!
