Birth control causes infertility?

I am a 22 yr old and have recently gotten off of my birth control pills because my husband and I want to tlget pregnant. So first month off we....well do it like crazy. We even 2atched for ovulation and everything. I guess my question is this :does taking birth control pills for an extended period of time make you less fertile?

I think you might find anecdotes where people say that, but I don't think that's standard medical belief. In fact, during fertility procedures, women are often placed on birth control pills to rest their ovaries and prep them for hormonal stimulation. It is totally normal for conception to take a number of months, even at the age of 22. I'd give it more time and try not to worry.  Good luck!
