6 days late, no obvious symptoms

Hey ladies today is Friday March 27th & my period is 5 days late. I am trying to conceive and after six months off of birth control pills I am wondering is this really it? Ive been dry with only minimal clear discharge this week until this afternoon, looked like a few drops of dk brown blood after urinating. No pain/cramping/early period signs  at all. Now just to share, about a week and a half ago out of nowhere I noticed dark pink drops on my toilet paper that almost convinced me of implantation bleeding & about an hour after that Some excruciating pelvic pain the lasted about 30 minutes. I just took a dollar store test and it says negative.... should i wait it out a few days & take another test? This lack of period is my only current  symptom!!!

Good luck! It is hard to try and relax.. it took us 8 months to conceive.. and where month was the same nerves. Until the last couple when I decided to not worry so much. It did come as a huge surprise in the end. Due in 19 days :) all the best :)

Sooo, that last experience was a BFN. I got AF in full force after being 5 days late. I still can't get over that being how ive never been that late before in my cycles . however i Got right back up on the saddle  [lol] this month. Awaiting Friday as my expected period start date.  this month i experienced frequent urination, and no more fatigue than usual. I started with faint brown discharge on tuesday which was 11dpo so today being 13dpo im nervous to take a test. Im happlily married and ttc but i do this  silly nervous nelly approach every month around this time. Lol i know i should relax, i just want to be a mommy!

I agree with the other ladies also,  I'm 15 wks and I also had the like pink stain on the tissue. And I too took a dollar store test that said negative, I think their not reliable buy one of the 10$ ones I did and that how I found out about the baby. Wait a while it to early if your not going to you OB to check it took me three week to find out I was pregnant after I wait to start my period.

Or I was going to say, you could always go to your ob and get a blood draw. Hcg will show up in blood sooner than it will in urine.

My very first symptom this pregnancy was frequent urination, even before a missed period. I had to go so much (about every hour) that I was convinced I was pregnant. I took a test when I woke up at midnight, convinced it was either 5 or 6 because of how bad I had to go. Sure enough it was positive. I took another one the following morning to verify and it was also positive. Other than that I hadn't had any symptoms until a couple weeks later. I'd say either wait a couple more days and retest. The commenter above is right, do it with the first morning relief. I would also consider not drinking any water past like 7 the night before, or at least just small amounts, to make it more concentrated. The more concentrated it is the more likely you will be to get a positive result if you are in fact pregnant. Best of luck!!!! Keep us updated! :)

Try giving it a few more days and test your first morning pee..i wouldnt worry about not having other symptoms yet as its still early and not everyone will experience many symptoms anyway..best of luck
