35 and hoping to conceive soon!

With the app and clearblue ovulation kit, we had intercourse before our fertile time, 1 time in the middle and at the "most fertile" time. I took the ovulation tests but only hit the high, not the peak ever.. Has anyone else had this?? What advise can you give me?? Hoping for a good test early Feb.!

Hi.  I'm not a fan of the ovulation kits.  Now that clear blue machine thing you put a stick in you peed on IS accurate (costs around 100 dollars and sticks are additional).  They measure your hormones for real verses an app which just averages numbers.  The pee sticks without the machine that reads them to me just never helped me much and got expensive.  A better method is to track your cycle, and start counting on cycle day 1 (first day of your period)  and begin having sex on day 10 and every other day from then on until day 20.  This is the best way to catch an egg.  I was older than you when I started to try to conceive.  Two kids later . . .  :>)  good luck and be patient. Oh, and have fun with it!
