ttc after mirena

This is my 1st time posting...I see this is a popular topic...here's my story. ..I had my Mirena in for 3.5 years and it was removed 10/23/14. Per my Dr.'s recommendation I pit a nuva ring in the same day (wanted to wait to ttc until January). I removed the nuva ring after 3 weeks and didn't start my period. 2 days of no period...so I took a hpt... turns out it was an ovulation test (I've never used them and it's from $ tree so I mixed them up) well the test line was certainly darker so it was +...took a hpt and it was -... well 1 week later still had an obviously +ovulation test and -pregnancy test. ..soo it's been 3 weeks 5 days with no birth control.and still no.period and - pregnancy test...and not ONE drop of blood since IUD removal??? (P.s. I have 2 boys who we conceived the 1st try).

Hey darl, sometimes after the mirena or the jadelle it takes up to a year to get the hormones out of your system. Don't lose hope though. I fell pregnant on the mirena so it is possible to conceive with the hormones still there :) xx
