Hi David ,

Many thanks for your reply , was interesting to read that there could have been a possibility of twins !!!
Just another couple of questions if you wouldnt mind answering , i have read on alot of websites that once hcg levels reach 6000 they can take upto 96hours to increase just wondered if you could advise on this , also if it was just a single pregnancy would there still be a chance of it being viable.
Kindest Regards .

i am new to it also. my very 1st pregnancy 30 years old. my hubby and i been trying for almost 10 years. now i go to hospital i found i missed my period when i started spotting brown after intercourse. been spotting since over 2 weeks well go to the doctor 1st she says you're definitely pregnant. hcg 11000 but then he orders ultrasound. nothing. hcg reading like i am over 6 weeks but both ultra vaginal and abdomin nothing. she said it could be to early but they did not see sac or anything. she said i probably had a miscarriage. looks like the fetus quit developing or its and etopic. no cramps just spotting over 2 weeks. how is the hcg 11000 and nothing. i also think i got pregnant either feb 15 or a week after

Ok heres my story, I had a routine pap semar 2 weeks ago. By the pelvic exam they said I was between 6-7 weeks. A week later I went in for pre natals and later smae day had an ultrasound. They were not able to detect anything from a regular transabdoinal US and therefore did a transvaginal. They saw a perfect sac with the baby only to tell me no heartbeat. As you can imagine total devastation sunk in. I had blood work done the next day ( Friday 04/13/07 ) give tne results on Monday 04/16/07 they were 33654. I am going on 10 weeks and no they begin to somewhat drop. Did bloodwork on 04/16/07 god results 04/17/07 and they were 25600. We were told the worst during the ultrasound when the techinician told me my options were a d&c or about it. I have been crying non stop trying to function @ work and am struggling through this.

I have deciced to get a 2nd opinion and am worried sick. I do not want to give myself false hope, My regular Dr. has me coming in 04/23/07 for more bloodwork and then meet with the Dr, 04/24/07 to discuss the results and schedule me for a D&C. I have been reading many wonderful stories of hope and just wondering if anyone has gone though anything similiar to mine.

Thanks for all well wishes..

Hoping and praying for the best.. Kelly
