can i be preg?

So, I had the iud for 3 yrs went and got it removed bc it was giving me bad cramps like cysts. Got the pill and takin it at the same time reg everyday. Well, we dec I wouldn't take the pill nemore well its been a month since no pill and I was starting to feel sick but never threw up with my other two pregnancies and was having some more symptoms. Well, I took a preg test but it was weird bc where ur results come bk it had little blue dots in diff spots of the window so I just assumed either bad test or to early to test. Well, my period came on monday and is now gone n its wed. I still feel sick n the morning n evening I am just wondering could I be preg? I have tried to do a little research but everyones situation is diff. Also my period w or wqithout the period is normally 7 days except when I had the mirena I didn't have one at all and it was bout. 4 months ago when I got the iud removed. Thank you in advance

I am 8 days late and have taken 2 pregancy test and they came back negative! How long should I wait to take another one??

Hi!
Usually the periods resume normally within a month or two after the Mirena.  So, if my patient called me with a "weird" period, I would definitely test for pregnancy.
It doesn't sound like your test was reliable, and I ALWAYS reccommend a repeat test.  Your doctor might be willing to do a blood test for you.

If the test is negative, it could be simply that your bleeding is abnormal because of the pill start and stop.  Birth control pills also can cause that weird "sick-hungry" feeling that pregnancy can cause.
