While I agree that she needs to talk to her doctor about the pain medication, your others info is incorrect. Even if you take the same birth control pills for 5 years, they do not cause you to become sterile or less fertile. If a woman becomes less fertile, it is most likely due to aging, not the medication. Continued use over a long period of time does not cause the issues you mentioned.

Percocet does not have any long term effects on fertility and doesn't cause any damage to your eggs. If you have been taking it for years though, it may be rather difficult to stop!
You might want to consult a doctor who prescribe Suboxone. It IS important to wean off the Percocet before getting pregnant because the baby will be born addicted and will go through withdrawl if you continue to take it during pregnancy. If you can't stop completely, try getting down to the lowest possible maintenance dose.
