unknown scars on chest

Hello everyone,
I am trying to look for some answers to questions that have bothered me for some time. I am currently 32 years old and know very little about my birth story. From what little records I have been able to obtain, I know I was born at 28 weeks, 2 lbs, 3 oz. I have scars on both sides of my chest to the sides of my breasts. Each in similar locations on both sides of my chest. I know I was born with a weak heart and lungs and no cry. I have tried reaching out to my biological parents to obtain additional information, but to no avail. I was born in Syracuse NY at Crouse Hospital in May of 1988. I tend to get pneumonia every winter. Randomly I also stabbing chest pains at times that will stop me in my tracks. If I raise my arms above my head and try to take shallow breaths until I can finally gain a deep breath without the stabbing pain. The pains are random and have not happened for a few years until recently. I work in the healthcare field, so I have some basic knowledge but nothing to do with lungs, heart or premature infants. I have tried reaching out to the hospital I was born in, but unfortunately they do not keep the records for that long. Please only serious responses only. I wish I had birth records, but am afraid they are forever gone. I have been told my lungs collapsed at birth, but have no written proof.
