I had a similar reaction to depo-medrol-and whatever it is, it took about 6 months before I felt normal again. I know the stuff should be out of the system but there must be something in combo of anxiety, etc. that rewires the senses so it takes that long to get back to normal.
Sorry to hear it happened. Relax , trust the docs and you'll be fine. (I know it's easier said than done).
Peace,
MP
While it is impossible to completely rule out any reaction to an injection a year ago of unknown medications, it is hard to imagine how this could have given a persistent reaction of any kind a year later. In addition, the finding of the respiratory specialist that your lungs are normal makes this even less likely. I would suggest that other causes of your symptoms be ruled out as possibilities. These might include a cardiovascular problem and/or an anxiety reaction.
