Tightness in chest

I am a 31yr old male in good shape. I regulary check my blood pressure and have good cholesterol levels. I recently started using anabolic steroids. I am taking Testosterone Enanthate @500mg/wk, and Boldenone undercylenate(or Equipoise)@400mg/wk. I'm splitting the doses and injecting into my glutes 2X a week. I always aspirate so I know I'm not in a vein but within minutes I am getting tightness in my chest that lasts for about 3 hours after each injection. I am only 1 week into this cylce and have checked my BP and pulse during this tightness and both were normal. After each injection there has been a small amount of bleeding from the injection site...could this possibally be Pulmonary Embolism from damaging a vein. Also the steroids that I am taking are oil based and have an alcohol content as well..I've heard of people coughing after due to the fact our lungs do not like the oil in the injection. Should I be concerned?

Hi, steriods in general no good to take...you could be straining your heart, also the steriods could be affecting your other hormonal levels such as tsh, t4s, b12.  I would advise you to at least meet with a doctor to rule out certain possiblities. Steriods can really screw up yoru body, does alot of different things to certain parts of the body, like your hair fallowing out, gaining weight, horrible mood swings, and things shrink.... Be on the safe side go imake an appointment and please take in to consideration that steriods can kill you.  Be careful.

You should be concerned about tightness in your chest that lasts for about 3 hours.  Such a symptom is inherently, very worrisome.  Pulmonary embolism is most unlikely since you are not getting an intravenous injection.  Bleeding from the injection site is of no harm.

However the injected anabolic steroids may contain contaminants or impurities.  Any of these could be effecting your heart and causing the tightness in your chest.  This would be serious.  You should confirm the purity of the products you are using.  Check into the reputation of the manufacturer.  Talk with your doctor about the tightness.  Ideally you should have a thorough examine by your doctor along with an electrocardiogram (EKG) at the time you are having the tightness.

Even if there are no objective findings, the tightness alone should be enough to motivate you to stop these injections.
