Nostril reshaping with Rhinoplasty

I've had 2 Rhinoplasties in 15 years at a leading teaching hospital. Neither gave me the results I was looking for but were worth the discomfort for the aesthetic & structural (septum turbinte) benefits. My nose looks proportional, but I wouldn't be adverse to having the bridge smaller. Additionally, as I've aged, I notice my nostrils seem to expand. Is it possible to simply have the nostrils reduced simultaneously or will this effect the aesthetics of my nose without a full Rhinoplasty?

Granted you've never seen my nose but I'm curious if this can be done?

My nose is quite narrow and i have been considering surgery for some time now. However i was wondering, does a procedure exist to widen or increase the flare of the nostrils ?? I have read about nostrils being reduced but never increased in size.

Dear Kim,

Nostrils can be reduced without a formal rhinoplasty if it's warranted. It's called alar base reduction. Please click on my profile (above) and visit my website for more information:

Hope that helps.  If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks.
