Ant Thoughts?

I had a one time unprotected sexual experience with someone in January of 2007.  I have not been with anyone else since.  I then had an STD panel done in August 2007, and all came back negative including HSV-1 and HSV-2 IgG.

About a week and half ago I noticed two small flesh colored bumps on the shaft of my penis. They were painless and were not red until I was stupid enought to squeeze them.  When I did squeeze, no fluid or material came out, but I did squeeze so hard that a little blood came out.  They have since scabbed very slightly and are a little tender, but this is after I squeezed the daylights out of them.

I know that the possibility of false negatives exist more IgM and somewhat less with IgG anitbody tests.  Given my above test results and the physical description I have just given, should I be concerned enough and go get another another IgG specifc test?  Thanks.

You do not need more HSV testing.  The lesions you describe do not resemble herpes, even the atypical presentations.  My guess is that they are not STD at all although there is a slight possibility they could be genital warts or molluscum (VERY SLIGHT).  The right thing to do is be examined. In your case, a dermatologist is the best source of accurate assessment.  Again, no further HSV_testing needed. EWH
