Bumps around pubic area and happy trail

I first noticed this big red bump on my happy trail and I plucked it out, I bled, and it healed a few days later. After I was a bit nervous because I never shave my happy trail so what could this have been? A week later a day after having sex with my girlfriend I noticed another big bump with red in the middle right between my happy trail and shaft where I do shave and I left it alone, the next day after a warm shower it got small. I started paying attention to area around it hoping nothing else would be there but I did find some random red spots. I normally shave with the same razor (read that it wasn't good so I stopped) and apply shaving cream. I have also had a few partners but used protection except when I receive oral, but I'm now with one girl and we've kept steady so we don't use condoms. I've been the only guy she's been with. Lately i've been sneezing and had a mild fever too, I went to an STD clinic and showed it to them but they didn't think it was anything but I feel convinced that it is. I got tested for syphilis and I await a response I'm also HIV negative. Can you please review the photos and help me figure out what this could be? I have common warts idk if that could be it..

I took these photos after taking a shower and shaving with a new blade so you could see better details.

Another possibility might be molluscum contagiosum -- a minor viral infection that sometimes is sexually transmitted.  But you need to see a provider for diagnosis.  Not knowing what you have, I cannot suggest the way to "fix it".  Go to your doctor.

That's understandable thank you for the quick response. A happy trail is the hair from the belly button going down. But what bothers me is that i have three bumps kind of together. neither bumps have any hairs leading out of it. They're just near hair. What can I do to fix this?

On this forum, Dr. Hook and I do not look at posted photographs.  We are not dermatologists and, more important, we believe it comes too close to practicing medicine from a distance.  We are not in a position to provide anybody with a definitive diagnosis.

And with apology, you're going to have to tell me what your "happy trail" is.  I have never heard that term.  However, from your description of shaving, I assume it is in your pubic area.  Problems in that area rarely are due to STD, and of course that is the only health problem dealt with in this forum.  From the vague description you provide, and from the possible association with shaving, it seems likely you have folliculitis -- i.e. a superficial infection (often due to staph or strep) in the hair follicles.

You should not be trying to get a specific diagnosis on line, either from this forum or anywhere else.  Please see your primary health care provider or a dermatologist.

Good luck--  HHH, MD
