uncircumsized penis glans peeling

Hi Doc I sent you a question a few months ago about gettin oral sex and fingering a girl and I was worried about HIV transmission and you said I was at no risk. It has been about six months and my glans under my foreskin seems to be shedding a lot. I can rub my thumb over it and it seems the skin comes off. I also had a few white looking bumps that when rubbed they seemed to rub off and leave a red dot which left small crater. I am terrified because I don't have any pain or itching or pain urinating. I have had no discharge and this started a couple of months after I had that sexual encounter with that girl. I had a condom on when I had intercourse but it only lasted a short time because I could not maintain an erection due to being drunk. I am terrrified it is herpes or an STD but it took a couple of months for this to happen and it seems to come and go. Please set my mind at ease Doc!

Thanks for the thanks, but it's just luck when we reply so quickly.

As I said, you describe nothing that suggests herpes.  Stop worrying about it.

Hey Doc thanks for getting back to me so quick you guys are awesome. In my question when I described the bumps they almost looked like blisters so could I have gotten herpes. I just wanted clarification on that one point.

No STD causes such symptoms.  That includes herpes, HIV, or any other STD.  And based on the exposure you describe, there was no signficant STD risk anyway.  A yeast infection or the condition called "nonspecific balanitis" might be a possibility.  Improved hygine might be all that's needed to clear it up.  Retract the foreskin and wash gently with soap and water twice a day.  If that doesn't clear it up within a few days, see a health care provider.  In the meantime, you need not worry about STD as a cause.
