Stressed Man - STD or Something Else?

Hello,
First of all, thank you for responding to my question. I am so stressed that I am having a hard time making it to work over this.

I am a ~35yr old curious and stupid man who (after many years) decided to give the Bi-side a shot.  I had been talking to a guy online for months and finally decided to meet with him 1 week ago (last Tuesday).  We fooled around for about 45 minutes. The "encounter" included:
1) Mutual Masturbation
2) Unprotected Oral Sex
3) A ~10 second penis-docking (unprotected)

There was no penetration at all and no kissing.

The Saturday after the encounter, I noticed that I am urinating more often and that I feel a tingling/odd sensation on my testicles and prostate area soon after I urinate.  I normally drink plenty of of water, but I used to be able to "hold it" for hours and now I am finding myself going to the rest-room every 1 - 1.5 hrs.

I am extremely freaked out and concerned that I likely have an STD.  I went today (Tuesday) to get one of those 8-pack STD tests which use your urine and blood-work.  However (and here is my question) I wonder if I needed to wait longer to trully test for all STDs. Therefore:

1) can you please tell me if 1-week is enough for these tests to determine whether I have an STD or not? And,
2) can you please comment whether my symptoms trully are indicative of STDs? or Could this be a urinary track infection? Something else?
3) How effective are these 24-48 hr test clinics? Are they are good as any? I went to a www.anylabtestnow.com. Is that a reputable one?

If I have an STD, I need to know ASAP and your professional opinion would help me tremendously.

Thank you. Regards,

FoolishMe

Thanks for the clarification.  No, that does not change my opinion or advice. EWH

Dr. Hook, Thank you for your quick response! Much appreciated!

To answer your questions, I gave the largest majority of the oral sex.  I received probably 2 - 3 spurts of oral sex that lasted 3seconds each (max).

Penis docking is when both penises come into contact at the head for a synchronized masturbation by one of the participants.

Does that change anything you wrote above?

Thank you again. Regards,

FoolishMe.

I suspect you are over reacting to your recent exposure.  Your only exposure of any consequence is oral sex (giving or receiving??) although I am not sure what you mean by penis "docking".  Irrespective, your STD tests taken today will give you accurate information, particularly when considered along with your non-specific symptoms and your negative UTI test today which would have detected WBCs due to STD.  When your results come back, please believe them.

1.  Taking Cefaclor today MIGHT have some effect if you happened to have gonorrhea (unlikely) but will be of little benefit for other common STDs such as chlamydia or NGU.  I would stop taking it, it will just confuse things when you do not know what is happening.

2.    As I said above, your symptoms are more compatible with anxiety than anything else.  UTIs are unusual in men under age 40.

3.  Most labs using approved tests will yield accurate tests.  If the lab is licensed, it is likely to be reliable.  24-48 hours is plenty of time to o most STD tests.

Hope this helps. Take care.  EWH

I did a couple more things as well (still Tuesday here):

- I got one of the AZO test kits for UTI and my the test came negative for both Leukocytes and Nitrites tests.
- The discomfort/sensation of wanting to urinate returns very soon after urinating. Its slightly worse when sitting down vs. standing up/walking.
- No pain during urination, but the discomfort is there

Thank you again. Please help!

By the way, I found some unused 500mg Cefaclor today (1 week after encounter) and started taking that. Would that help me?
