Gonorrhea scare from oral

I had unprotected oral performed on me. It lasted about 5 min. Immediately  afterwards I showered and thought nothing of it. 36 hours later I started to worry. Being in Mexico I purchased Zithromax and took 2g hopping it would prevent me from getting chlamydia or gonorrhea. I don't usually self medicate but being here I didn't have much of a choice. It has been 4 days since then.
What are the chances I took the antibiotics to soon or still could have something. I will be out of the country for a few more weeks.
I have bean urinating really often. No discharge   Just a heightened awareness of sensations around my penis. Probably nerves.  Thank you in advance

This is a problem of your own cration.  You do not know that you were exposed to any STI.  You do not know that you were infected.  You self medicated saying that you "could not get tested" and now complain of symptoms that are more consistent with anxiety than an STI.  The therapy to say you took is a recommended alternate therapy for gonorrhea.

I've already told you there is no reason for you to worry.  Now you ask if it is "safe".  Why would you think my answer would change from the answers I have already given you?  I suggest. You get over you anxiety-driven paranoia and move forward.  EWH

Last question. Is there any way the azithromicin just delayed symptoms of an sti?
And is it safe to resume unprotected sex with my partner? It has been 7 days since taking the antibiotic.
No symptoms other than the need to urinate and the discomfort that I have all ready described. No discharge or other symptoms.
The discomfort comes and goes. If I a, busy working I hardly notice. If I stop staying busy it is there.

Yes, a common manifestation of anxiety is a sense of needing to urinate frequently.  If you are having touble dealing with your anxiety on your own, discussing it with a counselor is often helpful.  EWH

One final question regarding anxiety. Can it cause me to feel like my bladder is always full?
Also it feels like the tip,of my penis is hurting almost like when you have to urinate really bad. It all looks normal no discharge or irritation.
I feel sick to my stomach and super tense. Very regretful.
Is there any way to help with anxiety if that is all that is causing these symptoms?
Sorry for being overly inquisitive.

Your anxiety is getting the best of you. Most antibiotics sold in Mexico are the real thing although conterfit medications are a global problem.  EWH

Ok so maybe I am paranoid. I looked at the bottle from the pharmacy here and the drug is called zertalin.
I keep feeling like maybe there is a burning at the hole in my penis. It goes away if I urinate.
Can anxiety cause me to think I am feeling something.
Sorry for all the questions.
Restless mind keeps me thinking the worst. Everything online makes me think its easy to get sti from receiving oral except here.
Also reading it doesn't seam like 2g of azithromycin is the best treatment.

Thanks for you time.
I have a couple other questions.  Antibiotics in Mexico are as good?? Also I seem to feel a strange almost irritated sensation around the tip of my penis. Can anxiety make symptoms more in my mind than reality. Guess I am super worried. I am happily married and don't want this one time stupidity to ruin it.

Welcome to our Forum.  Self-medication becasue of "possible" infection is always a bad idea.  Your risk for infection was very low from the exposure you describe.  If you had acquired gonorrhea, chlamydia, or NGU from your exposure however, the azithromycin you took would have cured/prevented any infection.  Taking antibiotics too soon after an exposure is not a concern.  There is no reason for further concern.

Frequent urination is not a sign of infection with any STI but it is a sign of anxiety.

I hope this comment is helpful.  No need for concern and no need for testing. EWH
