Hello, I have had 1 regular sexual partner for quite some time. About 2 weeks ago, after very very vigorous masturbation, I had to stop as it was getting too sore. A few days later I noticed what I can only call a "ring" encircling my penis in the middle of the shaft under the skin (doesn't move with veins freely, but seems semi-soft (its not hard to the touch). It is very thin, perhaps as if you were to put a thin headphone cord around my penis. It is painless and without inflammation or tenderness.
It looks exactly like pictures of "Scelerosing Lymphangitis", but it is on the middle of the shaft (not next to the head) and it separates into two vessels around the back.
It is painless and I have normal erections. It can be seen mostly when going from erect to flaccid, but not seen when totally flaccid. (if I ice it for example, it goes down). When erect it is slightly visible, but somewhat obscured by other tissue from the erection.
My concerns are two.
A) Is there any chance this is sexually transmissible? It doesn't seem like an STD, but perhaps some sort of other infection might spread?
B) Also, an almost more important concern, is does this sound like Peyronies disease to you? I know normally there is pain and penile curvature, but does Peyronies ever present with a visible protruding "vein-like" structure around the circumerfence with no other symptoms?
This has me worried sick. I obviously won't be masturbating this hard.
