Worry about massage exposure

Hi Dr,

I am writing to you from Singapore. I went for a massage session last Sat night, it was a clean massage joint with no hanky panky stuffs. They served both male & female customers. The 'therapist' provide an oil massage using massage oil.  During the massage she massage my butt with oil & ran her fingers between my butt and brushed across my anus a few times BUT did not insert her fingers into my anus. I told her to stop doing that after a few times. I have some abrasions from the toilet paper after passing motions that morning but there is no blood, i also did not feel sting when her fingers brushed across my anus so i assumed that she didn't touch it. The abrasion is not really near the anus, it near to the upper part, near to the scrotum about 12 o, clock direction.

I saw my dermatologist & he assured that its a No RISK event so long as no mouth contact, no sex & no blood contact in the anus or the abrasion area then its ZERO Risk. I told my wife about this incident too & she also felt that its nothing to worry about as well, she even laughed it off:(

I would like to know what is your advise on this incident. Is there any risk at all with the butt abrasions & the fingers brushing across my but/anus? Or should i just forget about it. Thanks in advance.

Welcome back to the forum.

However, it seems the things you learned in a couple of questions several years ago didn't stick.  At that time, we discussed that hand-genital contact carries no risk for STD transmission, just as your dermatologist said.  And I'm happy to hear your wife is also a wise person who understans there was no risk!

So don't worry about it.  All is well.
