dumb

On October 5th I had a brief( just long enough to get erection before putting the condom on) non-protected oral sex encounter and protected vaginal sex with a sex worker. No ejaculation.  After this encounter I self medicated with 500mg ceftriazone im and 2g azithromycin.  4-5 day later had unprotected sex with my partner.
October 22nd had unprotected oral  sex with a bar pick up. 1 minute or so, no ejaculation.  At one point the tip of my penis may have touched her vagina, no penetration.  After this I again self medicated with only 2g azithromycin. (I live in a very rural area and testing is difficult) 4 days after and since I’ve had unprotected sex with my partner  on a regular basis.
November 18th  my partner  tells me she thinks she has a yeast infection. I never had any signs or symptoms of any std. What are the chances I was infected with any std and passed it along? Starting to freak out a bit.
thank you

Welcome back to the Forum. the likelihood that your partner's symptoms are due to any STI that you might have acquired through your outside relationships is tiny. The likelihood any of your partners had STIs is small and if they did, the likelihood that you acquired them and they were not successfully treated by the antibiotics you took is likewise very, very low (by the way, lots of people have azithromycin lying around but few can self-administer ceftriaxone, how did you accomplish this?).  In terms of risk, with no penetration there is no risk.  Similarly, there is no risk from condom protected sex.  That leaves the oral sex and the azithromycin you took would have covered any STIs you might have acquired from receipt of oral sex.

I hope that this comment is helpful to you. EWH

How long after tx do i need to wait to test? my mind is still racing and i cant get by it. still have a burning sensation at the tip of my penis (comes and goes, and does not hurt when i uninate no discharge, my scrotum burns from time to time as well - no sores that i can see) can this all be caused by my anxiety or are they true signs of a std? its been 3 weeks since i last took a antibiotic. thank you

Sorry to come back with anouther question so late.  How concerned should i be about Trich? I have some pain at the tip and burning after urination no discaharge or redness. If the tip of my penis rubbed on her vigina unprotected. what are the transmission rate for that type of exposure(no penitration) worried sick.

Azithromycin is not the preferred drug for treatment of gonorrhea, an injection of cetriaxone is.  Two grams of azithromycin is a recommended alternative.  EWH

N, I see no need for testing realted to the events you describe.  In the unlikely circumstance that you had an STI, the medications you took would have cured them.  EWH

Thank you for your reply. What you do here is above and beyond but greatly appreciated. Yes, self-administering ceftriaxone is a little tricky but with a good aim and a little flexability, possible.
Would you recommend any testing?
Thank you again for your time.
