kissing

1. Can we still kiss passionately and nothing further happen to either of us or anyone new in our lives?
2. Can i give him oral and he doesn't get anything?
3.he can't give me oral, right(which is fine)
4.if i have sex again can i give this to a new partner (not that this is going to happen)
5. he needs to be tested then for HSV1?
6.if we have sex again will this bring on another attack  at my end, even if using a condom?
7. why does he not feel sick?
8. if his test shows positive, he's had this and doesn't even know it?
9. So, you can't have oral HSV1 and HSV1 in genital area? It onlly effected my southern area because he has HSV1 orally, and doesn't even know he has it because he's never had any outward signs. and I got it through oral sex? So he is asymptomatic?
10. could his test come back negative?
11.  Will he ever have signs of HSV1?

This threadd seems to be going on and on.  Our tiem for replies is limited., Brief answers:

so, let me see if i understand this. My HSV1 blood test was negative which means i never had the virus or  was it  dormant waiting for the perfect storm?

The negative test menas that you did not have antibodies to the organism.  It does not in any way suggest you had a"dormant infection".

A positive HSV1 blood test indicates you have the virus, but may be asymptomatic?

Correct

If a person has had cold sores, they definitely have HSV1 of the mouth?

Almost always.

And, I didn't build up an immunity because I never had HSV1?

You will develop an immune reaction to HSV over time, now that you are infected. This will keep you from getting it again.

So, my partner does not need to be worried about getting this on his private parts,  should I decide to give him oral, because I don't have HSV1 of the mouth, since my HSV1 infection primary point was my southern girl from receiving oral sex?

Correct

Everyone should assume that everyone has HSV1 with or without signs, so get tested before you even think about kissing someone .
How in the world did I not get HSV1 in my mouth?

Who and when persons get infected is determined in part by luck.

I don't need to worry about getting oral HSV1?

This is my conclusion about why I got in my southern region:  Because I hadn't had any sex for 8 months....menopausal with  dry vaginal wall lining....having prolonged sex creating tears inside...the virus entered the tears and thus I was infected?  Is this a correct assumption?

The risk fo transmission of genital HSV-1 to others is far lower than the risk of transmission of genital HSV-2 for a number of reasons.  These reasons include that there are fewer recurrences of genital HSV-1, that there is less asymptomatic shedding of the virus and that over 60% of the population is already immune to infection by virtue of having had HSV-1 infections whic make them immune to further infection.

As for your additional questions:
1. are we both susceptible to getting HSV2?
If you have not had HSV-2 before, if exposed to an infected partner you would be suscetible to HSV-2.  You certainly would be based on your negative blood test.

2. Im taking Acyclovir, every 4 hours for 10 days. After I finish taking this medicine is that when it's ok to even think about have sex? Or do we need to wait longer?
It is OK to have sex when you complete you medication and the lesions have ressolved.

3. This rash seems to be going to the anal area...is this normal?
If you are on acyclovir the rash should not be expanding.  If it is, there may be some other process going on.

4. Can a person get HSV2 in the mouth
Very rarely.

5. Is HSV2 strictly transferred by penis to vagina only and no other way?
HSV-2 is nearly always transmitted through genital-genital contact.

I don't understand. I have HSV1 in my southern girl, and I got it through oral sex, how can genital HSV1 not be transmitted person to person as you state in question 4

You did not need to post a new question to continue our interaction.  You can do this as afollow-up to your orginal post.  In answer to these questions:

1. Can we still kiss passionately and nothing further happen to either of us or anyone new in our lives?

Yes, I would not worry further. Assuming that he is already infected and knowing that you are now, there is  no risk for further infection, even at sites other than the primary site of infection.

2. Can i give him oral and he doesn't get anything?

Correct.

3.he can't give me oral, right(which is fine)

Wrong-you are infected and cannot get infected again.  Presuiming he is already infected, he will not get infected again, even at another site of exposure.

4.if i have sex again can i give this to a new partner (not that this is going to happen)

Yes, unless that person already has HSV-1 which is likely (see statistics in my original post).  Even if that partner does not have HSV-1, there is little risk for infection.  Gential HSV-1 in rarely transmitted from person to peson.

5. he needs to be tested then for HSV1?

This might be a good idea.  I suspect that his test will be positive.  If he has a history of prior cold sores however, then there is little reason for testing as you can assume that his could sores are due to HSV-1.

6.if we have sex again will this bring on another attack  at my end, even if using a condom?

No, wiht or without a condom, further sex should not cause a recurrence.

7. why does he not feel sick?

He has likely been infected for a long time.  most HSV-1 (and even HSV-2 infections are asymptomatic most of the time.

8. if his test shows positive, he's had this and doesn't even know it?

Correct.

9. So, you can't have oral HSV1 and HSV1 in genital area? It onlly effected my southern area because he has HSV1 orally, and doesn't even know he has it because he's never had any outward signs. and I got it through oral sex? So he is asymptomatic?

correct on all counts.

10. could his test come back negative?

yes but it is unlikely,.

11.  Will he ever have signs of HSV1?

Not necessarily if he is already infected and has ot had signs as yet.
