Optomap of my right eye

When I compare my optic nerve disc to images online, mine looks more oval and narrow.  Weird. It looks kind of like a seed.  LOL  I find the eye to be very interesting.  Do any of you have images of your eyes like this?

Sandy, glad your eye doctor seems to be staying on top of things.  Waiting really is no fun, but hopefully you'll have the results soon?

Maria,  did you get more answers when you saw your doctor?

Lauta,The eye doctor just said he thinks its optic neuritis and sent a letter to my Neuro. Then my Neuro called me and ordered a VER. I had that on July 3 and am still waiting on those results. I hate waiting.

Sandy, this is a very cool image!  I love seeing these kinds of things, thanks for sharing!  Were they able to tell you anything about your eye pain from this test?  I hope that your eyes feel better soon.  I know it's quite annoying to have pain in and around the eyes.

I have my daughter staying too lol. She is 38 with 2 kids, but broke her ankle and had to have bone chip removed so she is staying with me for a few days to recuperate and have a rest from the boys.

I am KNACKERED lol. So tired. Still once she goes i can have a rest.

I have to speak to the doctor tomorrow to go over the results I have had so far. I hope i get some answers and not fobbed off again.

Hi MrsAristotle!  I'm doing okay. My Army daughter is here visiting and I'm loving every minute of being with her. I'm feeling a bit more exhausted.

They did this optomap because I had right eye pain. Hurt in socket area. More pain when I moved my eye and especially when I looked up.

No I don't - what was this for? I had an OCT but it looks more like a colorful mountain range. :)   This looks like they are looking at your blood vessels inside your eye.
